Q: What payment methods does Krakatoa accept?
A: Krakatoa only uses USDT via MetaMask.
Q: How do I log in to Krakatoa?
A: To log in, ensure your MetaMask is connected to the site by clicking the “Connect Metamask” button in the top right corner and following the prompts. You will need to be connected to the Arbitrum Network.
Q: How do I buy an item?
A: To buy an item, find it on the marketplace and click add to cart. Once you are ready to check out, click the cart icon in the header, then click “checkout” and follow the prompts.
Q: Where can I see my purchases?
A: Your sales can be found on the Dashboard section under the "Purchases" tab.
Q: Why should I buy multiple items at once?
A: Krakatoa transactions happen on the Arbitrum blockchain, and each incurs a gas fee. Therefore, buying multiple items in one transaction will result in massive fee savings. Think of it as shipping multiple items in one box.
Q: Is there a fee?
A: There are no fees to buy items for buying on Krakatoa. However, completing a purchase transaction will incur a variable gas fee via Ethereum.
Q: How do I check the gas fee?
A: Gas fees are typically between 20-50 cents depending on the amount of items you purchase.
Q: I accidentally bought the wrong item what can I do?
A: Unfortunately, all purchases are final and can not be reversed. You can immediately relist that item and recoup your funds that way.
Q: Can I buy items and send them directly to a friend’s Steam account?
A: Items purchased can only be sent to your Krakatoa account. Afterward, you are able to transfer the items back to your Steam account and send them to a friend there. P2P transfer is in development.
